The Invisible East team goes to IMC Leeds 2023
The team will present a panel titled Entanglements in Afghanistan at the International Medieval Congress in Leeds, 3-6 July 2023.
Invisible East will be present at the IMC in Leeds with a panel organised by the project's AHRC co-investigator, Prof Hugh Kennedy, and entitled "Entanglements in Afghanistan" showcasing the current research of the team.
The panel will take place on the 6th of July 2023, 9-10:30AM.
The panel, chaired by Hugh Kennedy and including Dr Arezou Azad, Dr Thomas Benfey, and Mr Nabi Saqee, looks at the complex social interactions in the areas of modern Afghanistan, eastern Iran, and Central Asia from the 10th to the 13th century (the programme of the panel can be seen below).
